AREVA Announces New Executive Appointments

AREVA announced today the appointment of Bill Gallo as President and CEO of AREVA Solar, Tara Neider as President and CEO of AREVA Federal Services LLC, and Bob Grubb as acting President and CEO of Transnuclear Inc., effective March 1, 2011.
Gallo currently serves as President and CEO of AREVA Federal Services, where he has overseen the establishment and growth of this 500-employee company focused on public sector contracts. Under Gallo’s leadership, AREVA Federal Services has become a well-established and respected company in a very competitive sector. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
Neider will replace Gallo as head of AREVA Federal Services. She is currently President and CEO of Transnuclear Inc., which over the past five years has doubled revenues, and has been very successful in developing back-end products and services for U.S. utilities and abroad. Neider holds bachelor and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from New York University.
Grubb is currently Chief Operating Officer of Transnuclear Inc., has extensive organization and technical management experience in the commercial as well as government sectors for both the nuclear and aerospace industries. He has excellent credentials in managing large technical organizations made up of integrated engineering disciplines.
