AREVA has signed a 6-year contract with Central Nuclear de Trillo for the supply of approximately 240 fuel assemblies and related services for the CNT 1 reactor, located in Guadalajara, Spain.
This award, to take effect in 2010, follows the long-standing cooperation between AREVA and Central Nuclear de Trillo.
Since the commissioning of CNT 1 in 1988 up to the end of 2009, AREVA has delivered more than 1100 fuel assemblies.
According to Louis-François Durret, Senior Executive Vice President, Fuel business unit of AREVA: “This contract reinforces our strong relationship and cooperation with Central Nuclear de Trillo. This recent success is also a sign of recognition of the quality of our fuel assemblies’ offer, which we are very proud of.”
