AREVA Inc Announces New Heads of Operational Excellence and Marketing

AREVA announced today two executive appointments in its North American business unit. Dr. Andrew Cook was named to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence & Innovation for AREVA Inc. Kimberly Clark is named Vice President and Chief Customer Relations & Marketing Officer for AREVA Inc.
Dr. Cook will lead a new group at AREVA Inc. focusing on safety, quality and performance improvement, corrective action program, regulatory affairs, innovation, a business incubator, lean Six Sigma, transformational organizational learning, and training. He had led Customer Relations and Marketing in North America for the last 10 years.
Dr. Cook came to AREVA from ABB/CE and Toshiba/Westinghouse. At those companies, he held various executive and management roles in sales, project management, organization transformation, nuclear engineering and product development. He has a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from Cornell University, master’s and doctorate degrees from MIT in nuclear engineering, and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
In her new role, Ms. Clark will be responsible for customer relations across North America and for the integrated North American marketing activities for the entire AREVA product line. She previously served as a Vice President/Key Account Manager at AREVA Inc.
Prior to AREVA, Ms. Clark worked at GE/Hitachi Global Nuclear Fuel where she served as Vice President of Sales and in various managerial positions. She has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the North Carolina State University.
