COLUMBIA, Md., March 22, 2013 – Columbiana Hi Tech (CHT), a Transnuclear, Inc. company, is pleased to announce that Joe Faldowski has been named Director of CHT Operations. Transnuclear, Inc., headquartered in Columbia, Md., provides services for the nuclear fuel cycle and is part of the AREVA Group.
Effective March 18, 2013, Faldowski will report directly to CHT President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Don Olson and administratively to Transnuclear, Inc. COO Jayant Bondre. Faldowski’s primary responsibilities will be to work closely with CHT’s president and COO to assist in directing fabrication shop operations, using best practices to improve shop efficiency and scheduling.

“The acquisition of CHT ensures that Transnuclear, Inc. has dynamic innovation capabilities through closely aligning product development and manufacturing teams,” said Michael McMahon, President and CEO of Transnuclear, Inc. “Joe's appointment allows us to continue to streamline and evolve our capabilities to support our customers through AREVA's global, forward-looking safe used fuel management platform."
CHT was recently acquired by Transnuclear, Inc. to strengthen Transnuclear's ability to respond to customers’ needs with highly competitive pricing, streamlined acquisition and delivery turnaround, and increased quality control.
