Enrichment, a key stage in the fuel chain

To obtain fuel that can be used in nuclear reactors, the concentration of uranium 235 found in natural uranium must be increased; this is called enrichment. Present throughout the nuclear fuel cycle, AREVA ensures uranium enrichment in France and will soon do so in the United States as well.
