AREVA announced today the appointment of Elizabeth Sellers as Senior Vice President, Program Development of the group’s Federal Services Division. She reports to Bill Gallo, President and CEO of AREVA Federal Services.

“We’re delighted that Elizabeth Sellers is joining our organization,” said Bill Gallo. “She brings more than 25 years experience with Department of Energy (DOE) programs, including executive experience in establishing and implementing complex government contracts. In her new role, she will work to enhance AREVA Federal Services’ position as an important contractor for DOE projects, bringing proven AREVA technologies to DOE programs.”

Ms. Sellers comes to AREVA from a consultant position in the United Arab Emirates where, for the past year, she provided executive advice and consulting support to security contracts for a commercial nuclear power program. Previously, she led the DOE’s Idaho operations office from 2003 to 2009 as lead contract administrator. She has also managed the DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration office in Kansas City, Mo., and directed the used nuclear fuel project for DOE’s Richland (Wash.) Operations Office.

She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
