Front End Division:
Through its Front End Division, AREVA provides the nation's nuclear reactors with a reliable supply of uranium products and services, including conversion, enrichment and fuel fabrication.
In the United States, AREVA mine sites are currently undergoing reclamation, and we market uranium products and services, including conversion and enrichment.
Highlight: AREVA has selected a site and submitted a construction design application to build AREVA's state-of-the-art Eagle Rock Enrichment Facility near Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Reactors and Services Division:
AREVA's Reactors and Services Division specializes in the design, construction and servicing of pressurized water reactors (PWRs), boiling water reactors (BWRs) and research reactors, as well as in the manufacture of radiation detection and analysis instrumentation.
Highlight: In late 2007, the division submitted a certification application for EPR™ reactor technology, chosen by several U.S. utilities, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Back End Division:
In the United States, our expertise covers recycling, packaging and transportation, nuclear fuel cycle engineering, facility decontamination and decommissioning, and environmental remediation.
Highlight: Through Transnuclear, Inc., AREVA ranks as the No. 1 U.S. supplier of used-fuel interim dry storage technology to U.S. utilities choosing this option.

Renewable Energies |
|
|

Renewable Energies Activity:
Our Renewable Energies sector designs and manufactures high-output offshore turbines; designs and supplies turnkey bioenergy power plants, as well as small hydro-electric power plants; and provides solutions for producing hydrogen by water electrolysis and for generating electricity with fuel cells.
Highlight: In the United States, AREVA and Duke Energy created ADAGE™, an innovative joint venture dedicated to designing, building and operating bioenergy power plants – considered to be carbon neutral by federal and state agencies – for U.S. electricity customers.

Transmission & Distribution
|

|
|
T&D Division:
In the United States, the T&D Division offers products, systems, services, automation and information systems for the medium- and high-voltage electricity markets, transmitting and distributing electricity from the generator to the large end-user.
Highlight: AREVA's T&D Division is the number one supplier of energy management and energy market systems in the United States.
